Getting Started with xSyched
Your AI assistant is only as good as its memory. Follow these steps to give yours a real one.
1 Open the xSyched Custom GPT
Go to xSyched in ChatGPT and start a conversation. This is your entry point — everything happens through natural language, right inside ChatGPT. A ChatGPT Plus subscription is required.
2 Sign In via OAuth
On your first interaction, xSyched will prompt you to sign in. Choose GitHub, Google, or Azure Active Directory — no new passwords to create. Your identity is verified through providers you already trust, and you're connected in seconds.
3 Create Your First Context
A context is a structured container for related information. Choose from 57 types (personal, professional, business, hobby, health, education, creative, technical, and more). Give it a name, an optional description, and custom instructions that tell GPT how to behave within that context.
Example: Create a "Work Projects" context of type PROFESSIONAL with instructions like "Use formal tone and reference our company style guide."
4 Add Items to Your Context
Items are the building blocks of your AI's knowledge. Add text notes directly in conversation, upload files (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, images, code files — 70+ types supported), or reference URLs. Each item gets a name and persists until you remove it.
5 Create Tasks Within Contexts
Track work directly inside your AI assistant. Set priorities, assign one of 7 statuses (NOT_STARTED, IN_PROGRESS, COMPLETED, WAITING, DEFERRED, CANCELED, OUTSTANDING), add due dates, and attach status notes. Your AI can remind you of upcoming deadlines and flag overdue items.
6 Share Contexts and Collaborate
Share any context with other xSyched users. Form groups (private, public, or enterprise domain groups) for team collaboration. Send messages, manage invitations, and build a shared knowledge base that every team member's AI can draw from.
